The Torreando Pass (or Bullfighter Pass) is a dynamic standing guard pass in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Named after the bullfighting maneuver, the passer grips the opponent's pants (usually near the knees or shins) and uses these grips to steer the opponent's legs to one side. Simultaneously, the passer uses quick footwork to circle around the legs in the opposite direction, bypassing the guard to establish side control. It relies on speed, mobility, and misdirection rather than heavy pressure.
